} The sculpture begin in the “Place in Mind” honours course, cotaught with landscape architect Carl Smith, through to the Zip-Form fabrication technique. The mathematical strategy of distributing bending along a curved flat-cut steel sheet, welded in a T-shape, replaces the highly skilled single-point bending otherwise required for curved metal sculpture.
